Description
A whale I did for my father for his holiday gift. When I was really young he went on some retreat at Eselan in California. He came back and said that he was a whale in his past life. I'm not sure about that, but I remember him mentioning it and he's always liked sea life, so I painted this.It didn't take long, as you can tell by some of the lines. They're a little sloppy.
Maybe three hours in photoshop? I used a tutorial for the water, but I painted the whale from a few different references.

Yeah, I should probably do a different watermark. I wish they had an option to make it lighter.

I sent my mom a print in the mail so she could wrap them up for everyone... I wrapped hers separate. ^__^ They got them in time for xmas though! So I was pleased with that.
