Lily in the WaterI know, everyone and their cat on dA has done a 'lady in the water' themed piece, but I hadn't and needed to get it out of my system.
That said, I hope I gave my own spin to it and added a bit of depth with ambiguity.
I wanted this piece to ask the audience Is she dead? Is she dying? Is it her spirit? Is she in heaven? Or is she mourning someone else's death? All comments and feedback appreciated!

Ooo I really like this. I love all of the little hidden details like the mushrooms and the statue. I also like the serenity of her pose with the waterfall in the background. The duckies are also very cute.

Im just curious what Univeristy did you graduated from, Monash, RMIT or Swinburne, because i am currently studying Graphic arts and just want to know thats all.

Hey, I'm graduated from RMIT but I didn't learn all this digial art stuff there. Before I did a degree in Visual Arts & Design at ACU, so I went into the design course with an image background. To be honest I think RMIT & Monash are on par, I saw Monash's grad exhibition and it was alright. The good thing about the Monash course is that you get to do electives from 1st semester at RMIT you have to wait until the 2nd semester of 2nd year.

Hey thanks for the reply and opinion, and yeah i find RMIT not really great in teaching their method as i was there for my Certificate IV in design to explore my design area but overall it help but not as much as i wanted and expected, i am currently studying Graphic arts at VU and surprisingly their teaching here is way stronger even though their Reputation doesn't match RMIT and other University like Monash and Swinburne. I'm learning more there compare when i was at RMIT as some of the teachers are quite arrogrant and they don't supply adobe suite which is like most needed programs and they expect you to know everything about the program. Well thanks for your opinion

Thats a pretty darn seamless composition! Definitely a piece packed with goodness, something you want to look at many more times than once. There are so many things to think about while taking this in, a real imagination stirrer.. Great work!
