As the title says, drew this in 2020.
Winter Warmth Celebration is their equivalent of Christmas. The origin, hoping to keep this brief, is that winter back then was dreadful and deadly. So this holiday was made to bring light and happiness to it at the very least. People say coniferous trees as symbolic of surviving the cold so they’d decorate them with these orbs that represent each person’s soul, hoping everyone would survive the winter. A sun or a bow would be placed on top of the tree. The sun represents wishing warmth to everyone while the bow represents the strong community bond, since their history is heavily based in community and helping each other. People would give gifts to those they appreciate. Nowadays, people don’t have a need to worry about the winter cuz of modern developments but the holiday is still going strong cuz it’s history.
I was proud of this at the time cuz I was still new to backgrounds (still am ngl) but I think it’s eh now. I think the 2021 one looks better.
