im also having a problem of the task bar doubling size when restarting, plus it changes to the original start menu button. GREAT theme but this bug is getting annoying. Thanks for the great work

Nice! I like the current start bar, but I do kinda wish the start menu itself was still transparent... the rest of the windows are transparent, so it kinda looks weird to me, even though the bar is fully opaque. :\
But yeah. Verrrrrry nice job so far!

Hmm, the taskbar is awesome - how about making the windows the same style as the taskbar too? these days too many skinners abuse transparency... a nice solid theme for vista would be GREAT!
also, having trouble applying your theme (and some others)... I have the file patched, but it only works for some themes, and it doesn't for others. Any suggestions?

Its the naming of the system files of the styles. Check in the windows/resources/themes folder with all your themes. Make sure inside each theme's folder, in the en-us folder (or something similar) that the name of the file in there (whatever.msstyle.mui) is THE SAME as the name of the .msstyle in the theme's main folder. That might fix it.

Hi I just got a problem
When I reboot the taskbar is double sized. I can't seem to resize it back to 1 bar thickness (without changing to another theme and resize it back -> Change theme back to Axis).
Do you know how to fix this?

No, actually I have the same problem! I have no idea how that happens or to fix it
But I'll definitely have that fixed for the final, somehow.

Okay, I downloaded this and I do like the taskbar. Maybe you could make the button flashy and stick out, but that's probably overdoing this kind of style.
Also it'd be nice to see different window borders and caption buttons. At the moment it, in my opinion, it looks too much like Aero, but at least you did change that.
Maybe the scrollbars as well, but as a beta this is looking good so far.

this is the kind of theme that i wanted..
although the windows needs a bit of work so it does not look like the default AERO theme
this one seems to have a big future
