Rito Yuuki is a nice, but very clumsy boy. But (or maybe that's why) very much girls love him.

But who will be the best girl for him?

From left to right:

Haruna: Haruna is in Rito's class and she's his dream girl. She has similar feelings for him, but she's too shy to telling it.

Nana: Nana is the twin of Momo and the younger sister to Lala. She has the ability to speak to and understand animals. Out of all the main female cast she has shown the least attraction to Rito, regarding him as a "Beast". Even so, she has shown slight affection to Rito, with the notion that she has tried to sleep in his bed with him.

Lala: She's the princess of Deviluke. At first Rito should help her to keep herself from getting married, but really fell in love with him after she misinterprets a statement that Rito shouts in self-defiance. When Rito will marry her, he will become the next King of Deviluke.

Momo: Momo is the youngest of the three princesses of Deviluke. She has the ability to talk with plants. She, like most girls, eventually falls in love with Rito though unlike the other girls she sexually desires him as well. She want create a harem for him to becoming his favourite wife.

Nemesis: Nemesis is a transformation weapon. She's the direct opponent to Momo's plan to include Yami, various other girls and herself into a harem for Rito. After a long and arduous battle with Gid Luicone Deviluke that left her on the brink of death, she accepted Rito's offer to "possess" and live in his body until she is able to recover fully, given her the ability to control his speech and body movements for small amounts of time. She seems to be very (sexually) interested with Rito, and finds his nervous expressions towards her arousing. In her first appearance, she offered to train him to be her 'pet'. She playfully considers him as her servant, and essentially enjoys treating him as her boy toy.

Yui: Yui is the head of the school disciplinary committee. Like most of the other girls in the series, she also becomes a love interest of Rito, although she is more reluctant to admit it to herself than most of them, due to her tsundere personality. Originally thinking he was just another "Shameless" boy, she realized how wrong she was. While Rito does not have any romantic feelings for Yui, and thinks that she is always angry at him, any romance between them is generally seen from Yui's perspective. Her growing love for Rito surprises even herself.

Golden Darkness: The most characters call her “Yami”. She is a lonely assassin who is initially hired to kill Rito Yuuki. As she spends more time on Earth, she builds a very strong relationship with Rito's mature younger sister, Mikan and to Rito himself, to whom it is very possible that she developed feelings for. Yami appears to have love-hate feelings towards Rito. She convinces him, and perhaps herself as well, that he is still her target. And she often states how much she hates perverts. It's possible that Yami knows that Rito isn't as perverted as some think and just hates it when he sees her without clothes.

Run: Run is a childhood friend of Lala and the girl version of Ren. At first her relationship with Rito was very complicated, because Ren dislikes Rito. But later Run and Ren permanently separated into two separate beings after reaching 'adulthood'. Run has been in love with Rito madly and initially, she will try every means to win Rito's heart, including using her body to seduce Rito, which usually ended up in total failure.

Rin: Rin is Saki's loyal and longest known friend. Rin is skilled in kendo and has been a loyal bodyguard to Saki for years. At first Rin dislikes Rito's perverted clumsiness, but than she changed her impression of him.
