Zomg I actually colored this. x_x;There was a SD Transformers contest in TFW like, last year. I was going to enter and drew this out, but just never got around to coloring it. e.e;
Soyeah. Chibi Wheeljack. He looks all serious and stuff....
I can finally move that pencil drawing down to scraps now, though! XD

Nice pic. Is that armada wheeljack? Is he any good as a toy? And if hasbro were alowed to use the name wheeljack then, howcome ever since we've been stuck with the name downshift???

Yep, that's 'Mada 'Jack... As a Toy he's alright, the Hasbro Version's colors are pretty gaudy though (the black has this weird olive tint to it, and his blue show accurate detailing is yellow...) The Takara version is supposedly better... I won't know just yet, but I'm going to be getting him in a few days myself so I'll let ya know.
I actually wrote a toy review for the guy on Seibertron, if you want it I can send it your way.
As for the name, damned if I know. Part of Hasbro's genius scheme, I guess. XD

heh, he looks pretty damn cool... he may well be the only the forth ever armada mold ive ever bought (on perpose, ive got a fiar few minicons in a lot with miscromasters) (the other three being (in order of buying em) A Unicron, E Demolisher, and A Prime (with trailer, he aint arived yet though cuase I just won him on ebay).
I didnt get back into tfs until the tail end of Energon in this country (just before cybertron in the US I beleive) and im not a masive fan of either armada of energon (I have a few energon basics thanks to a shop in town that sells things cheap (thats also where I got Unicron) and Prime n Megs cause they happened to still be available one day when I had a tf itch to scratch) so as a result, ive got very little Armada, and have seen no reason to try and make up for this.
Cybertron/Galaxy Force on the other hand.... now that is a series to get excited about!
That said, Im still primairily a G1 man.

not just that, but the series that goes with it is the first truely watchable one (in my opinion) since G1.... (and unlike G1, it has an actual plot!!!! omg!!!)

LOL, yes! 'Tis why I'm doing all that I can to tape every episode. I've done it for Armada (though I only really watch the last episodes, which are the awesome ones...), Done it for Energon (also watch the later episodes, especially that Fantasy battle episode, lmao), and I've only missed one episode so far in Cybertron. Thankfully, though, the rerun of that ep should be on this... *checks* Thursday, so I'll be good. Right now I've got Twenty-something tapes of Transformers goodness, and that's not counting the 17 or so episodes left of Cybertron to come.
Here's to hoping Cartoon Network doesn't screw it up anymore than they have. Bad enough it's being bumped from weekends to the 6AM timeslot... again.

Well if you download Armada, it only starts getting good around the time that Sideways is killed in the episode "Detection". Then comes the 2-episode Requiem Blaster arc, followed by a lame ep that's entirely kid-centric, and then the highlight (for me, anyways) of the series, the "Past" arc, where Wheeljack first shows up. The second "Past" episode is well-animated, and there's decent storytelling in it! A rarity in Armada indeed!

Then Smokey gets offed and rebuilt as Hoist, Starscream joins the bots and leaves an episode later (moron needs to make up his friggin' mind...), Prime dies, Hotshot gets put in charge, Prime comes back to life, Hotshot, Red Alert, Starscream, Demolisher, and Megatron all encounter Nemesis Prime and get their Powerlinx colorations, they make it back to Cybertron, and the Unicron Battles ensue. TUB's are the best episodes, by FAR, especially the last five or so. Out of those five, the final episode, "Mortal Combat", is animated by the same people who do all the great stock animation (I.E; intro sequences, transforming/powerlinking sequences, etc), so the entire episode is pure eye candy. That, and it was kind of cool to see the repaint Rhinox make a five-second cameo.
As for Energon, the episode "Imprisoned Inferno" is where it started getting good. There were some slow spots to follow, but other than that the remainder of the series was tolerable. If there's one ep that you HAVE to see, however, it's the Fantasy Battle one that commemorates, like, 500 episodes of Transformers or something. No plot-furthering, it's just a lot of zany cartoon antics (I.E: Prowl and Downshift arguing about how to battle their tag team opponent, so when they finally do link up, they both transform into shirt mode and... well you could imagine.)
Waa, sorry to ramble. Hope you can make heads or tails of some of that...

I dont really watch tv much, and only have UK terestial digital (when Im at uni) and UK terestial anologue (when im at uni) so IF any tf cartoons are shown, they're shown first thing (6:00) in the morning..
So I rely entirly on dvds and downloading (I downloaded the first 26 eps of Cybertron, though I'll probably buy em anyway, and I wanna down load armada n energon, so i can see what happened, doubt I'll enjoy em enough to buy em though.
(oh, and I got all of G1, encluding movie, though im now gonna have to get the enhanced version, and possibly the japanese serieses too... )
