Description
Something a little bit different from my "regularly" scheduled transformers. I recently revisited another part of my childhood, the allegorical world of Narnia. The movies were one of my favorites! They were and still are amazing classics, and they introduced me to the books and to Aslan, my all-time favorite Narnian character. There's such a beautiful charm in the world of Narnia that never dies no matter how old you are or how many times you revisit it, and of course, the songs associated with the movies are always so emotional! (ie Carrie Underwood-"There's a Place for Us" and Regina Spetktor "The Call"). Of course, I had to listen to one of these songs as I drew this, which ended up being Carrie Underwood's song.

For those who don't know, the text is an excerpt from the Golden Age prophecy from the first book/movie. It goes something like this:

"Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of His roar, sorrows will be no more,
When He bare's His teeth, winter meets its death,
And when He shakes His mane, we shall have spring again."

"When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone,
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done."
