Description
Inspired by a book of the same title by Yasunari Kawabata. It's a story about a Geisha who entertains guests at a hot spring located in the snowiest region of Japan.This is something I have been wanting to do for a while now, there were several failed attempts along the way. As I was making it, it began to remind me of an old postcard, so I decided to go with it, but it can always be changed in the future.

I've read Snow Country and Beauty and Sadness! I enjoyed them a lot. I've also read House of the Sleeping Beauties short stories.
The movie adaptation of HotSB's was pretty terrible though. I didn't like it at all.
I'm going to pick up more of his books in the future.

Hey ! I've read Snow Country and Dancing Girl of Izu (and other stories), but Beauty and Sadness is not available(sold out!). Oooh, House of The Sleeping Beauties was translate to Indonesian in 1980, but I can't find it !

i just found your work and ... no words can say how beautiful it is. and somehow it shows Kawabata's book chcracter. snow country is one of my fav books. it's pure, poetic, full of nostalgia and something else something you catch in your photo too. amazing

Kawabata was always my special writer. when i read book i look for the pictures in my mind and for the special sound of words. Kawabata is incredible in both. i read and i see it i read and i hear the song of his thoughts. very strange and mystical feeling can't explain this
