Cute because its like 2 sisters bonding, and hilariously evil because Pidge has an unsure look about her face while Allura has that typical Older Sister evil look on hers.

Now that is something to see. Say they have a formal event, and everyone have to wear formal clothes. It will be a change for Pidge, aka Katie, to wear a dress after so long.

I like to think Allura is so relieved to have Pidge there; otherwise it's a total sausage fest on that ship. Now she's got somebody to dress up, gossip with, and exchange voice boxes with on Zerpion Day.

When Shiro first mentioned Pidge's real name, at first I thought Pidge was actually a transgender boy. Pidge being a girl was a better way to ensure it's not an all-male team since Allura doesn't pilot a lion.

To me they pulled off the Mulan approach, which I think is brilliant. I love the idea of Pidge looking like a boy just to dig deep in finding her father and brother. She went through a lot to get that far, and deep down I'm so proud of her.
