Hello! I'm going to do a series of works about new Young Justice (TV series).First one - new Aqualad! He is very cool, and his powers are pretty interesting - something like waterbending in "Avatar: tLA".
I already had one picture, called "Aqualad" so I had to give this picture another title. To tell the true, his name sounds wery awkward to me, I'd prefer just Jackson as in comics. ^__^
SAI, 6-8 hours. Some Art Nouveau influense
Thanks to ~redheadstock for water brushes I used in background.

I think this version of Aqualad is by far my favorite. He looks awesome. XD The other versions just don't do it for me. I dunno~ I think his name adds a sort of exoticness that you don't get from Jackson.

Agreed. His name was a mouthful. I prefer Jackson as well.
Outstanding work on him. Anatomy on the guy is impeccable, as well as the colors on his superhero uniform. For a totally new design, you got it down pretty much perfectly. The stylized underwater is a nice touch as well.
