Apparently my boredom produces 20 minute shitty doodle things.Liesel Meminger from "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. I love Zusak's books. This one's a pretty good read, I guess. I'm still not finished though. |:
Idk, I'm not good at drawing characters from books because I don't pay attention to details much... So this probably isn't right at all...

I always imagine her with plats, like on some of the cover illustrations, but Zusak never really DID mention the length or wether it was in plats or not. I really love the way you made the picture so soft and sketchy.

Yeah, not ever having seen the covers with her on it, I used to be inclined to think of her hair tied in a bun. These days I tend towards the plaits too, though. Thanks for your comment!

i feel like such a crazy fan, having read the book twice, and I'm onto my third time. I've been trying finish it off before the summer holidays so that I can give it to my friend to borrow over the summer.

Actually, I think you got her right. It mentioned that her hair was nearly blonde, but not her hair length, and she had brown eyes, so you got it right.
This is really well-done. She's so cute. <3 You have a nice style.
