Description Acrylic on canvas 2008
I am very happy to finish this one because for one time I can say I done exactly what I wanted here and I can say I am satisfied at 98% with my first idea in my brain (that's not so usual when you paint)
This time again I worked on the background with my little hand and brushes but I designed all the pattern. That was really interesting. Certainly it take time but I really enjoy this experience.

I love the textures over her face, and I think it was a brave thing to paint them over such a beautiful face. There is something wonderful in that.

thank you , it's somehting I saw after, when I finish that was a sort of surprise, like if its face was very clair in ceramic.

i love so much about it, the bird, the pillbox hat, her make-up
the colours all work so well, just with those splashes of dramatic red against the blue! wow
