Don't look into his eyes. Don't talk to him, and above all do not make any deal with him. Ever. No matter how tempting his offers may be. Around Esben, the trickster, nothing is what it seems...

I had this sudden urge to paint my most 'evil' character, Esben, in his usual beech marten shape. But as his shadow shows, he is much more than a mere marten... I suppose the closeness of Halloween and the close return of Supernatural (yay) are to blame for that, haha. And I have not paid enough attention to Esben lately, which makes him become like this. Behave yourself you little crazy thing. Actually, Esben is not crazy at all, he knows very well what he's doing, and enjoys every moment of it. Yup, a sadistic, shape-shifting demon with the cute looks of a beech marten, that's what he is. Though he likes to turn into a bear if he's really pissed or wants to do serious harm (he prefers to use words through). Believe me, the marten form is much easier to handle. It is more talkative, jumping from branch to branch, suddenly appearing on your shoulder next to your face, and the next moment high above in the trees, taunting you, whispering promises with that wicked grin of his. No, better to leave him be, just don't respond to his questions, and he might lose interest. At least, I would hope so....

Photoshop CS3, about 4 hours I think, start to finish. I'm not sure exactly.
