A very experimental picture, it started out as a regular cell-shaded picture but I got bored with that and tried out some different stuff. I wanted a good sense of depth and the face to draw all the attention, with the tail and hind legs in the background, so I got me some complementary colours and went wild, haha. I think I like it.
Also, the "sand-coloured Stranger" finally has a name: Zosimos. It's a Greek name ending with -os (like I wanted!), and it means "survivor", which is great. It was also the name of a 3rd century Greek or Egyptian alchemist. Very fitting. So yeah, someone pissed him off, and this would be his defensive, 'back down or I'll hurt you' stance. Hmm well my shimmikie is smart for a young adult (17-18), not in knowledge but in maturity and tragic situations and common sense. She is very creative and knowledge hasnt ever been that inportant to her but she enjoys learning in creative ways. She thinks differently and is a bit of an odd ball. She has romantic interest toward other females. She hates talented/smart shimmikies that cant humble themselves. She is untrustworthy of older males unless she is learning from them and even then she doesnt let her guard down. She is very bubbly and rainbow-ey. She is not shy about anything and will talk about anything and ask anything.
So maybe he is trying to teach her something and she is zoning because of his teaching style or he is giving her a What the hell look or she is asking him a billion questions or she is trying to set him up with someone.
