Originally I wanted to do a "normal" picture of Goliath. Well this never happens. It turns out his grinny grin began looking a little... "spooky". So I chose to turn him into Thailog instead, how convenient!

My goal here was to actually practice another form of coloring I never used before, which is doing it greyscale first. Also, I felt that it would be fun to see just how Goliath/Thailog face might look in "3D" so to speak. It's really hard because of his flat nose that often throws away perspective. I chose to do relativly human-like ears but much of the detail was lost in the shading.

The hair was quickly done and without so much care. I know I can do hair just fine, it's the face that was really interesting me ; )
