i tried freehand drawing this a while back, but i can't draw 9 or 10 of the 17 pokemon here..... so yes, i used some pokemon cards for the outline, but i coloured myself.
and holy crap this took a loooooooong time!
Bug: Mothim- i mean, just look at his little moth arms! THEY'RE SO STUBBY X3 i remember when i first got a burmy, Wepher, i was hoping to get a wormadam (i didn't know that only females evolved into them) and when he evolved, i squeed!

Dark: Zorua- what can i say? i fell in love with zorua as soon as i saw it. when i first started digital drawing, i drew a bunch of pictures of him. he's just so cute!! >.<

Dragon: Kyu Kyu- i don't know why, BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE CUTEST POKEMON EVERRRRR!!
for some reason, dragons that are meant to be scary, i just adore! for example, i think Ridley from Metroid is down-right cute

Electric: Raichu- 'nuff said son

Fighting: Scrafty- i gotta say, i really love the gangster look! this pokemon was a great idea. i just love his exprssion and how he moves.

Fire: Victini- uwuwuwuwa! what can i say? victini is so perfect; he's cute, he represents victory, and his signiture move is pretty sweet!

Flying: Murkrow- I really don't remember how i was attracted to Murkrow in the first place... but i do love crowns and ravens, plus the whole new thing with honchkrow being a mafia boss and the murkrows are the minions

Ghost: Rotom- again, LOOK AT THE FACE! what's not to love!? Sableye was a very close second.

Grass: Whimsicott- oh gush, i remember how i felt when i first saw whimsi for the first time... i almost died of cuteness overload. SHE'S SO FLUFFY ;w; Leafeon was a close second

Ground: Flygon- not much of a ground type fan, but you'd be a fool not to love flygon! he's adorable!

Ice: Weavile- let's face it; Weavile is AWESOME! he's really powerful and beastly in battle and has great personalities in the anime!

Normal: Togetic- i remember when i was much younger, about 7 or so, i had my own imaginary togetic that kept me company
whenever i was driven past cornfields, i imagined that my togetic was flying into them and pulled out corn of his own 
i really love this pokemon! i fell in love with it when i played Colosseum with my brother. Poison: Nidoran M- not a big poison fan, but ohh his little face is so sweet ^^ he reminds me of a little shy mouse

Psychic: Latios- such a gorgeous pokemon indeed

Rock: Rampardos- again, going back to the dragon pokemon, i find Rampy SO CUTE >.< and his attack stat is BOSS

This is something that more people should do. It allows others to see what you like and look for in Pokemon. Unfortunately your opinions, particularly about Dragon types, will be a bit hard to swallow for some. That aside, opinion and reasoning don't make or break the picture itself. The art is very good as always, and I love how the types are arranged alphabetically. I also like the color coordinated backgrounds. The concept of the image is not very original of course, favorite pokemon as a concept can never be original. What does make it original is the pokemon you choose. That's why these are some of my favorite pictures to view. It adds so much spice to a boring concept and very rarely will two people's choices ever be exactly the same.

This is a pretty good picture. It shows the what you love about pokemon, and in my opinion, you look for cuteness + power. Some people will not agree with this choice and do not look for the same things you will, but thats ok because different opinions makes the world different. So, this deviation is nice, its detailed with the pkmn, and i think your opinions are great!
not many people share opinions because they're not prepared to stand to listen to others opinions, so you are showing a good example to DA!
