I came across this in my mom's room. This newspaper article. Itβs me, aged 10, clawing my way towards copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when it was released.I still believed I would get my Hogwarts letter in this picture.

I got into Harry Potter just after this... Or maybe a bit closer to the sixth book. But either way, I went to the midnight release of book 7 in fourth grade!

I received the first 4 books for my 9th birthday. I didn't get into it until the movie was about to come out and my mother told me I had to finish the book before seeing it so surprisingly I did (I didn't finish all the book because of other things, I know 'WHY?') but afterwards I reread it and loved it. Same went for every movie after it -- pretty soon I just read them without a motivational factor behind it other than it was because I loved them. LOL

That's awesome! XD I wish I had a local newspaper that covered good stuff like that instead of those top ten most wanted killers that live in my neighborhood.
I didn't get into Harry Potter until around when the sixth book was released

That was about the time I got into Harry Potter. A little while after... it was weird, I got into it because of a crossover fanfiction...
