Description Narroch: Yet another dragon. They're the only things I'm good for.

With this picture, I am falling back on one of my old techniques where I cut out the picture I just drew and paste it onto a background I cut out from a magazine. It's tedious, and never perfect, but it is passable for someone who fails at photoshop and hates backgrounds anyways.

Seriously, photoshp isn't that hard, it's just hard to learn all the stupid controls and tools for it! You have cool dragons. I first started drawing dragons and horses as an artist because of the curvaceous, contoured lines and anatomy.

Yes, I will definently keep trying with the photoshop. I just need a clear tutorial explaining the layers and stuff...

Thankyou! I enjoy dragons for the same reason. Horses are also fun to draw, though I find them harder for some reason. You would think a dragon would be more difficult than a horse, haha.

No, not really. Dragons may have the stigma of culture associated with them, but it's far easier to distort porportions and make them more aesthetically pleasing and elegant than it is a horse, which is a living, breathing creature. Horses also have very sinuous rippling bodies, and every muscle stands out during movement, while dragons can be obscured by scales, wings and other loving ebellishments.
Dragons are difficult for those who have little imagination or inspiration.

This is all very true, and quite a nice way of putting it. Lord knows I distort anatomy to suit my needs. Thanks a lot!

You're welcome dear I think if my art career doesn't work, I think I could go into critquing... isn't that what art critics are--failed artists?

Gotta love dragons. They're the best. But they seem so hard to draw My friend drew a really cool one though in art class. Nicely done
