now, a nice young man on this one forum...he's a little older than me but still, he suggested that i make an ice/bug. i had been planning to do an ice worm, but then i was reading a field guide to pass time (that's another story), and i did a facepalm. a WOLF SPIDER! A WOLF....SPIDER! aha! so i took this rejected ice wolf concept for a different forum that i had lying around, and i made it into a lycosid.its name is Lykosa, a bug/ice type that hunts in small packs, but will usually stay solitary. its bushy feet allow it to distribute its mass more easily on ice and its bushy fur acts as both insulation and a sensory organ that lets it gauge temperature.

I thought I recognised the colour scheme
However, in tradition of spider's, perhaps 6 legs
It already has the main and ears, just doesn't strike me as a spider

i don't have an unlimited selection of colored pencils
it's a wolf spider. as in, it's not a spider or a wolf, but a fusion of both. my own creation.
it has eight legs fused into four, Spinarak/Ariados fangs, extra eyes, no snout, and its face is on the end of its torso instead of having a distinct head. that's good enough for me.
