Ooh, a Mothman Owl line. My only complaint, sprouted from the fact that I like strong parallels between version exclusives, is that this is not a 2-stage line like Flattery/Oddcast. I suppose you could have this line and the Baltoy line in one of the games, and the Dogun line and maybe the Drifloon line in the other one. I suppose a buffed Hoothoot noctowl line would work as well.Β
That way, each game has a Dogu line and a Spooky flying line, of those one is a 2-stage line and one is a 3-stage line, and one of those is an old PokΓ©mon line and one of them is a new one.
I suppose this kind of method could be used for the Flattery line as well. One game has it and, say, Yamask, while the other has Elgyem and Dessicat.

Oh yes very much so. My bad for sub-par wording.
That part was purely on me playing with the thought, for some hypothetical game where these were to be used. Really, it's the kind of musings that you are free to ignore, and also free to tell me off to not put in your comment sections. I mentioned the Flattery/Oddcast line because I believe any lines based on the Flatswoods Monster respectively Mothman would work splendidly as version exclusives due to drawing from similar concepts. It was more of a rambling line of thought than anything else.
The designs and sprite-work are all lovely.
