Description
This is the first personal piece that I didn't draw for any challange for... I think over 3 years? Only done contest work or work-work.It took some time to finish, I changed the whole picture quite a bit during the whole process and kept working on it whenever I had time between commissioned work. And now I think it's done.
More work is in progress
(And no, the title has nothing to do with any song you might think of

Wow das bild sieht super aus! Ich weiß gar nicht, was mir am Besten gefällt...
Die Spiegelung und der Glanz der Rüstung ist perfekt geworden, die ganzen Deteils im Vorder und Hintergrund, an den Blumen, dem Kettenhemd und der Mauer... der Lichteinfall auch auf dem Mädel und natürlich die Posen
Ich finde auch die Aufteilung in Vorder-, Mittel- und Hintergrund super und insgesamt die Elemente sehr gelungen.

Wie schon unten erklärt, habe ich meistens keine bestimmte Geschichte im Kopf. Mehr eine Szene oder Aktion. Dann fane ich an das zu malen und füge immer mehr Elemente hinzu, die diese Aktion zu einer Geschichte machen könnten. Ich lasse das ganze dann mehr oder weniger offen, sodass der Betrachter seine eigene Geschichte hineini interpretieren kann

Especially the armor and the clothes look amazing.
If I should criticize on something it would propably be the perspective. Throughout the picture it looks a bit inconsistent.
The bricks in the front are seen from above up to a point, while the windows in the back are already seen from below.
I dont know about medieval architecture but are the bricks supposed to be different in size ?

Thanks a lot! Yeah, that could be true. As mentioned I changed the whole picture, especially the background quite a bit during the process. Usually I start with laying out a perspective grid and making up size relationships. But as I changed the background last minute I kinda forgot to do this. Reminds me that I always should plan a picture first

Well, there's no specific story. When I start a picture I always have something like an action in mind, something that's happening. While I develop the composition and the picture further I add more and more elements that could tell a story. I like it when people think make up their own story while looking at my pitures
