Happy New Year for everyone! ^__^This is my artwork for one calendar, for november
Yellow color and the dog are simbols of earth, so I drew what my native land looks like in november. Hoarfrost, wind, and expectation of a miracle!Watercolours, about 3 daus of work

Not only your native homeland ! Crows and dog (or coyote) are really present in the native american culture and mythes, to not speak about all the European variations !

Colder than where I currently live !
Here in the South of China, it seems that we are still in the end of summer, slowly entering in autumn.
Still, the dog and the crow are as common as they possess a lot of symbolism in almost every country.

You're welcome, here we have a "normal" 20 (without the minus) degree, no snow at all, not even rain.
And I'm in Guangzhou now, so one of the most developped city in China (and in the world), for living. So I'm not enchanted every day like a normal visitor !
Still, there are breathtaking landscapes and architecture, with a very rich culture (and a language very difficult to learn for an European...). Anyway, I take some inspiration from China in my work as well, difficult not to after 1 year and half now !
But your painting, with the greys and blue, express very well the feeling of the cold, even if the orange dog brings a lot of warmth. So, very nice choice of colors, bringing spontanously mental images from Siberia.

So! Blue colors are for this month - in November you are sharper starting to feel a lack of light before you get used to it as in winter.
It was literally October just now and you walked in the light of sunset at seven in the evening. And now WHAIT why it's so dark in five of evening?? xDD If there was now sun today the light part of day is very-very gray and dreary - and this is very common for this month. But at dusk it's start to be in beautiful deep blue colors with white shine of snow. This is a very brief moment but also very atmospheric, before the night begins.
And the crows are living in the forest where I live xDD I often see them then go for a walk but involuntarily I associate them with the dark November

A wolf shall guard the moon
