Description So this image is based on a dream I had a couple of days ago.

Here it is, in case you want to read it:

The clouds above us were in a dark grey-blueish shade. As the minutes past by, the wind grew ever stronger. The people who’d been around all day had already ran away, looking for a safe place to take shelter until this horrifying storm was over. But not us. You laid there in my arms, only protected by me surrounding your upper body and your beautiful face. I’d always thought you were the prettiest thing I had ever seen, and though we could die any second, though you had already passed out and laid there lifelessly before me- today was no exception.

I talked in a gentle voice while stroking your hair, hoping that you’d wake up. The storm was at its closest now and keeping both you and myself from blowing away, right along with it, was a near impossibility. But I held on. Held on to whatever was left to hold on to. In a situation like this, you might think that all one should be able to think about is the high chances of never being able to look upon a sunny day after this one was over. That we would die. But that didn’t scare me. All I could think about was your soft skin- and I smiled. The irony of me trying to save you instead of her got to me. Where was she, even? I looked down on your face and your lips immediately caught my attention. I realized how long it had been since I was allowed to even touch them.

You made a quiet noise, but loud enough to awaken me from my trance. Your eyes slowly opened and as they did, they met mine in an instant. I held you even tighter now, happy to see you recovering- though it was obvious you were still too weak to stand or even sit up on your own. Another sound made its way from your lips, but I was unable to understand what it meant. I could feel your warm breath as I leaned my ear closer to your mouth in order to hear what it was you wanted to say. I felt my heart rip a couple of centimeters as your words gently touched the tympanic membrane in my ear. I froze. Naturally, you mumbled about her and as what you just had mumbled went back and forth in my brain, like a roller coaster, I could feel the salty tears trying to escape my eyelids. But I held them back. Fought them with all my might, taking slow breaths.

I cursed at you inside my head, for talking about such things at a time like this. I realized that you were only talking jibberish, that you still were not quite awake.
“I’m the best. Thanks to all of my amazing qualities.” you whispered with confidence.
“Ssscchhhh…” I gently replied as I put my finger over your lips to silence you. You looked up at me with the brightest, calmest eyes this world had ever seen. For seconds longer than days you looked me straight in the eye. You leaned closer, closed them and aimed for my lips, but I knew you weren’t in your right mind, so I turned the other cheek.

The wind kept trying to pull us away, but we just laid there. Like nothing in the world could wake us up from this dystopia. But just as that thought ran trough my mind, I did. The wind disappeared, and you along with it.
