Reminds me of Samurai Jack's main villain, Aku. Or any chinese folklore demon, really. It looks great on Tirek, since he's supposed to be Satan manifested. Unless this is G4 Tirek in all cases, he's all around bad.

ganondorf and tirek have similiar personalities- like wanting to have power over a kingdom- tirek tries to steal the ponies magic and ganondorf tries to get the triforce! isn't that a bit of a coincedence? and i do see a bit of the zelda reference when tirek went on a search for twilight sparkle in the season 4 finale- much like how ganondorf tried to find zelda in wind waker and some other zelda games.
