maybe the fact they both wearing clothes that scream Disco Fever?...no? ok maybe only Dazzler, i'll admit my knowledge bout disco culture is lousey at best.

Dazzler was explicitly created to cash in on Disco Fever. Jubes was created in the late 80s by Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri , but didn't join the X-Men until the 90s, and I always though of her as a 90s kid.
