~Chapter 3-Disaster~

"Oi, I'm beat." I yawned, walking back with the others with my arms crossed behind my head, and my towel draped over my shoulder.
   "What are you talking about? You barely did anything!" Roxel said, taking a bite out of the sea salt icecream I bought him. He then reached over behind Soku to poke my arm, saying "You little lazy bum."
   "Psh. Yeah right." I said, looking over at him. "I do stuff. It's just you're always too busy with Soku to notice." I teased, grinning. Soku turned a deep red, and Roxel laughed nervously. "I don't know what you're talking about." I raised an eyebrow questioningly. Yeesh, and I was only kidding.
   "Soo... all the awkwardness aside." Axan said, "Do you guys have any plans when we get back?"
   "I'm probably going to find a snack machine before going back to my room. I'm starving." I replied. "But you just had icecream!" my sister protested. "So?" I asked, looking over at her. "At least I'm not trying to become anorexic like you." I poked her in the stomach, and she squeaked. She frowned, and muttered. "Not funny... I'm just not hungry a lot of times."
   "I'm going to Soku's room to help her study for a test." Roxel said. I coughed, and quickly said "Like that's all you two are gonna do." He punched my arm, and I busted out laughing. "Oh come on! You gotta admit, that was funny!"

   I was finally back in the school, just down the hall from my room, at the snack machine. Roxel was already in Soku's room with her, as far as I knew. And Axan was chilling in my room at the moment.
   I punched the button on the snack machine that said Cheetos... but a bag of Doritos came out instead. I sighed, and made a mental note to try and fix the snack machine at some point.
   I turned around and started walking back to my room, opening the bag of Doritos. It was when I looked up, that I noticed most of the hallway lights had gone out. Axan was standing in the middle of the hall, some sort of darkness swirling behind around her and behind her. She truly did look lifeless.
   I stopped and the bag of Doritos in my hand fell to the floor. "Axan?" I asked nervously. "Hey, is everything ok sis?"
   "Luxel..." Axan replied, her voice sounding eerily empty. She looked like she was about to take a step towards me, but seemed to be pushed by something from behind. I quickly stepped forward to catch her, but she vanished into nothing in my arms. I looked around startled, trying to find my sister. The black mass that remained seemed to distort, creating a giant shadow monster of some sort. The shadow lashed out to attack me, and I held my arm up in front of me as some sort of defense. Before I squeezed my eyes shut, I managed to catch a glimpse of some sort of key-like-shaped blade appear in my hand.
   When I opened my eyes next, the shadow was gone, all the lights were back on, and the key I thought I saw in my hand before was gone also. I looked around, hoping all of that had been a dream. I quickly ran into my room, but there was no sign of Axan. So I did the only thing I could think of next, and ran off towards Roxel's room. The whole time trying to make sense of what happened.

   When I finally reached his room, I didn't even hesitate and opened his door. Roxel was sitting on his bed at the moment, and looked over at me. "Hey man, what is it?" he asked, looking at how I seemed scared out of my whits... which I honestly was.
   "Have you seen Axan anywhere?" I demanded.
   Roxel shook his head slowly, and looked confused. "No... How come?"
   It felt as if all the energy in me just disappeared then, and I fell back against his wall, and slowly sunk down to the floor on my knees. "Luxel! Come on, what's wrong?" Roxel called, sounding worried.
   "She's gone..." I whispered. "Axan... she's gone."
