Nah just 4 way stretch vinyl. The armor piece are craft foam cover in paper mache, then paper clay. I sanded it down and painted it. Had a lot of help from my crafty fiance too. He's great at this stuff. Its the same method I used on my Berserker Rikku armor. I got the idea from Limbarb though in hindsight I think the armor pieces are a little thin for the paper clay. It made the armor kinda brittle.

It held up. The only reason I don't still wear this is well as you can see from the photo I am very flushed. It was super hot in this hallway and my costume literally warped from the heat. I later tried to put it back on and saw that some of the vinyl had melted lol. the heat caused the vinyl to pull away from the fabric. The armor itself is fine. I always kept it in a box and carried it with me on the plane when flying. I just think that since the armor was so thin I should have sealed it and painted it rather than covered in paper clay. If that makes sense
