Haven't been able to draw as much as I'd like lately, but I had an idea for a Daredevil pinup. I'm not completely happy with it, but I spent three hours just sketching it out as it is now. Models were used for the figures. I'm not sure if I want to make it a more detailed pencil drawing, or ink it in the manner that I usually try to ink. Comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.Related content

that bullseye expression is perfectly smug. great work, love elektras eyes too. wish i could draw expressions this well.

Thanks. Photo reference was used for the expressions, but I try to not make it an exact copy of the reference.

hey dude! these sketches are amazing. i don't think i'll ever get over how natural your forms and facial expressions are. that Bullseye is my pick of the bunch.
i think there's the makings of a dramatic pinup here, but in my opinion you'll have work a bit on the size, and arrangement of these images to make the big one.

hmm it's a difficult one Ayelid, because it would be a shame to lose any of those individual sketches, which are great. Thinking practically, the one thing that could be improved is Kingpin's part. I only have a superficial knowledge of Daredevil's history, but I have a feeling Kingpin is the link between the heroes and villains, and so deserves a proportional role in this montage. What I had in my head was Kingpin's rather large, round and menacing face forming a background linking the smaller sketches together. This may require half his face overlapping Bullesye's chest and maybe a bit over Elektra's head. Or maybe he doesn't have to overlap, just kind of be behind the sketches but still clearly visible. I fear I'm not making sense!
but also, i think the radar lines you suggested would also be rather cool, and would also link the sketches together. i think that's the essential thing that is required: something to link the smaller sketches to make them part of a single piece rather than a collection of images.

If I finished the inks on the copy that I had already began working on, would it be possible and would you mind rearranging the figures the way you did with the pencil sketches?

I'm diggin' it, yo! Bullseye and Electra's faces are sweet! (but I think her hand could be just a little bigger) And DD looks cool too. A nice concept!
