Description *EDIT- I'm just curious how people are coming across this piece, so comment below with how you found me!* Please and Thanks!

This is a design that I'm working on for one of my co-workers. It's in the sketch phase so I will be pulling it onto the computer and making it look amazing. Red will be added into the center of the smaller flowers and the larger flowers will be red as well as the lips. One of the things I hate when I start drawing on paper is that sometimes I am horrible at gauging where to start the drawing on the paper and then I make it go off the edge. Does that ever happen to any of you? Nothing a computer can't fix though, right?!

Aww, well thank you! I called it a sketch mostly because it's not colored and it was done with pencil on paper with some crayon added over. I have done another sugar skull in color.Β

Love the style of your shading! The flowers look gorgeous and perfect amount of them on this design. So much different designs to look at on here yet its not "too much". Β 
Mind if I ask what type of sketch book you prefer to use?

I just use any type of sketch book. Typically I use digital media only, but with this one it was traditional. I've drawn on all types of sketch pads!

Hi! One of polish ask.fm "Fames" copied your drawing and added a fake sign. Β I think you should know. We're trying to make him tell the truth about copying pictures, but his crazy fanclub [mostly 11 years old girls] is defending him, telling "he didn't do anything wrong".Β

I posted on his Facebook page and kindly asked him to remove the post from ask.fm... but he deleted my post off of Facebook. Lol. Guess he really wants people to believe he drew it. I hope he realizes that it's not right, and removes it because he wants to be a good person and do the right thing.

I do the same thing as far as proportions sometimes. (I.E.running off the page with your drawing) Speaking from my own experience, I've found that it helps to draw the general outline of what I want to draw first, then add in all the details. It helps me to know my boundaries as far as size and to fit everything into the drawing. This looks very nice, though, I like it!

Lol Glad to see I'm not alone! Yeah, that's a good tip. There are a lot of times I am able to do that, especially when I already know ahead of time what I envision for that particular piece. This one, however, I had no idea where I was going to take it. I started drawing and before I know it, that's what it turned out like. Luckily, it wasn't terribly far off the edge. Appreciate the comment!!
