To answer you, I would have to disagree, Natsu being evil makes no sense. It would be cliche.
1) I agree with this one, I haven't read that far, so I have no opinion, maybe he did, but remember his target was dragon slayers and not dragons.
2) Gajeel had development, Laxus had development, and Jellal had development, Lyon had development, Erza had development, Gray has development, So many characters had good development
3) I personally don't see it
4) Seriously why is this a thing that people are upset about? Look like romance as much as the next person, but seriously the ships shouldn't be the most important thing in Fairytail
5) Maybe he didn't know, some father's in real life sometimes don't know they had kids, they often leave and start families with other people, or there young and don't want to get involved. It's a terrible thing but it happens IRL
