Since Andy will never ever love her back and does not deserve her in the first place, Mary and Terry are more than delighted to see to it that Mai is given the affection, attention and touches she has been craving for. Mai does not need to.employ her fire ninpo to set the room ablaze. Her mere presnce with such grace, beauty, and shining alone can accomplish the same task. The stupendous artworks of Mai Shirsnui continue on and are always top notch exellent works.of art. Keep up the fine work.

It’s not the Andy doesn’t love her...well...currently it feels like Athena and Kensou...forever friend zoned...
Terry and Mary support Mai...as Mary is her teammate...and Terry is the future brother-in-law...the only reason Terry gets upset with Mai, along with Joe, is she keeps interrogating them when Andy leaves

Another King Of Fighters pairing I immensely hate and for the very same reaaon. To me the so call friendzone only exists because sinply put people do not want to accept that they are not meant to be. Believe whatever the hell you want, but for me Mai and Athena can do a whole lot.better.

I am not sure what you are tslking abiut, but as i have to yet KOF 14, then i may be missing something. That would be hypocritical of Takuma to do that. Yuri and Robert wouod not stand for that.. Mary and Terry both lost loved ones. Joe is friends with the Bogards and an enemy to Billy's boss Geese. Obviously that is not.going to fly with him. If hia sister Lily.was dating someone else then there would not be such an issue. Vanessa's husband is still alive. No comment on Leona. Rock is afraid of women so Hotaru and Jenet are not going to go anywhere with him. Also Gato, Hotaru's brother might not approve.
Yep although Takuma and Hidern are widows for vastly different reasons. Correct abiut Goro.

Takuma approved of King as far as KOF 2000 after using Hoah Shoukoken to deflect one of the Zero Cannon shots to save King...he smiled then mentioned to her that she was suitable enough to bare strong heirs much to her surprise. Since then, Takuma, Yuri and Robert tried to hook them up. In XI, the trio made her so angry during her date with Ryo; the normally calm King threw a dinner table at them, only for her to miss and hit Ryo, Kasumi, Eiji and Malin instead
Takuma...doesn’t bode well with his friends’ son let alone his own disciple ask his daughter’s hand in marriage which Robert tried a few times...KOF13 being the most recent; though Yuri does get mad at Takuma when he does it
Rock isn’t afraid of women persay; more like he’s not sure how to react because Terry raised him. Jenet mentioned that Rock is really cute, while Hotaru sees Rock as a kind soul. Speaking of which, Joe also as a disciple named Kuon and producers mentioned that Kuon is a she and a pretty girl
So that means the Young Wolves are Rock Howard, Hokutomaru and Kuon...the Lady Wolves are Blue Mary Ryan, Mai Shiranui...and if allowed, Lily Kane
The Bogards and Billy is toned down to just a fierce rivalry now and bares no hatred; mainly due to Mary, though Billy still gets irritated by Joe. Billy, Raiden and Hwa Jai are basically the Anti-Garou trio.

Leona...despite all of them being waaay older than her; Ralf cares for her the most, but its hinted she’s more into Clark and due to a game glitch turning canon, Change Koehan, where he doesn’t know why Leona saluted or shows different types of affection
Takuma’s wife died from an illness after Yuri’s birth
Heidern’s family was murdered by Rugal...Leona and his subordinates are his life now. He also keeps in contact with the Bernstein children, Adelheid and Rose; thus making peace with himself

I have not seen those endings in ages. I was not aware of Joe taking on a disciple. That just seems out of character for him to do that. The SNK wikia mentions Vanessa's husband still being alive along with her child. Precisely on what happened to Hidern and Takuma's respective wives. I treat the Leona saluting Chang as a mere.glitch and a funny running gag. Nothing more than that. I am going by how the women would react to Rock's reaction. I guess Mary should have helped Terry raised him so that he would have not developed such a problem

According to Memory of Stray Wolves, Mary never met Rock...Terry only told her stories about him...this side story took place after Rock left with Kain
Maximum Impact and Tales of Ash mentioned Joe taking up a disciple...it wasn’t until later on where its revealed the name and gender of the student
