I wouldn't even mind if we got Helix. He's one of my favorite characters in ARMS, and I think he'd be a fun character to play as in Smash.

This is definitely an unusual predicament, seeing as the characters who were already confirmed as Assist Trophies and spirits have pretty much been chopped off.

Well it's either gonna be someone in ARMS we at least expected, someone we do expected, or the one that makes assist trophies turn into playable characters in the same game and all heck breaks lose because of a certain purple guy related to Wario might get in Smash then. MIGHT. Which I kinda hope he doesn't.

I seriously hope neither the trophies nor spirits become playable, if anything I would prefer to give them a chance in the next entry, but if Springman or any of the Arms spirits become playable, imagin the fiasco that would come out from the fans of "WAH!", impossible to pronounce name puppet, and Disney's anime swordsman that everyone arguments is more of a clubsman despite having a weapon that is literally called a blade that is too big to be called a dagger

Well I can see why people would want Ribbon Girl, Min-Min, or Twintelle. I mean I like those characters to..though I do usually play as Dr.Coyle. I kinda want her to be in Smash. If not the other 3..but Twintelle or Ribbon Girl would most likely.

this is Nintendo we are talking about, remember that aside of the mascot or the most popular character, they tend to go for the unexpected/least popular one (or ones, since many in the arms roster would certainly be unexpected choices, like helix, lolapop, springtron?), or maybe even the background character (the yellow announcer whose name I forgot that appears in the game was also in the reveal) just for the sake of being unpredictable, better to not have high hopes.

I think itll be a sort of composite character, that represents the franchise, so maybe those characters that are closer in play style to one other have a chance to be one of 4 different main skins and the other with be color swaps that represent other characters, like with Hero

Spring Man's already an Assist Trophy, and Ribbon Girl's a Mii Fighter costume, so it's safe to rule them out -- and if you factor in the leaked info that among the future fighters was a "girl in a mech suit", that narrows down the options to pretty much just one: Mechanica. Of course, we won't know for sure if that scrap of information relates to thisΒ DLC Fighter, but it would fit.
