So that's how you got your "pixels" to look so pixelly? Like with the thin white space between each "pixel?" I think one reason why I am dissatsified with my entry ([link] ) is because my "pixels" are lacking that quality lol....

So when you say "grid"... did you make the grid or is that like a button in photoshop?

Anyway, really good work ^_^

yup. i make the grid, so it have does spaces between each pixel.

First of all this is awesome and I will totally vote for it! Secondly, What program do you use to make 8-bit pictures? Is it just MS Paint? I've only made pixel art with Microsoft excel but can't really use that if I wanted to enter the competition. I've been trying to figure out a program to use and I was just wondering what you used.

There are plenty of great image editing products out there for free, like Paint.NET [link] GIMP [link] and Inkscape [link]

try gimp, it works pretty similar and is 100% free!
