Description
This is for "let's Save the Earth together" contest. ;[link]
You can take care of the environment by using water carefully and not to waste it.

Background might be a little distracting
faces are hard,
reflection of girls clothes in the fish is not apparent any more
Do a black and white painting or maybe even pencil just showing hand and fish),but not 2D
Its meant to be a rose in her hand
Watercolours maybe better on canvass
Sponge effect works well on fish
what happened to her legs?, shhhh! know one will notice.

thanks, yeah the rose didn't really come out how I wanted and i didn't want to make it worse
but it should have been like the one in this [link] thats small as well though

the cheapest ones i can find
With the oil, i sometimes mix it with some linseed oil
and also use turpentine
I used watercolour pencils, which are water soluble
and used some water colour paint to paint in between.

I think my favorite part of this picture has to to be the fish. The shading on that is amazing! ouo
Looking at your notes, the flaws you've found I think make the piece more unique. Sure, it may lack what normally should be there, but with watercolor, it's not necessary for everything to look absolutely perfect. While watercolors do work better on canvas, they can be fun to used on any medium and come out great. c:

yeah originally the clothes (yellow and blue) were reflected in the fish scales
as I was trying to get a mirror finish, maybe nextime
