As the keeper entered the aviary, the air filled with the shrill cry of a dozen rainbow lorikeets, all looking for a tasty meal.Red-collared Lorikeets Trichoglossus haematodus rubritorquis, at feed-time at the Adelaide Zoo. Taken on 31st July 2006.

i got these little buggers in my mango tree all the time wen there r blossoms and fruit, i love the red collars on them!!!

I can only imagine how annoying that would be, despite their beautiful colours. We used to get possums in our peach tree, they would eat it just before it was ripe enough to pick, the little buggers

haha i got bats and birds that do that to my paw paw and banana trees, eating the fruit before its ripe....
