I'm really really sorry to ask a question like this but... how did you manage to join the back part with the frontal one? I tried to argue but I can't see even a small belt to fasten the back part on the shoulders or something like that... what's your secret?

OK, I notice that you get smaller pieces at the bottom and I am assuming that is for flexibility, but how do you connect them to the pieces above them? are they Handsewn towards the sides cause I dont see rivets? and do you leave the middle completely unconnected so it can move better? Also, this is spectacular!

The whole breastplate/backplate is an 8 piece floating articulation which allows for a full range of torso motion.

Dude... this is... remarkable. The effect you've created here is amazingly metal-like. Not just the coloring, but the way the light plays off it and the crispness of the lines and everything. Amazing.

The trick to make light play well is giving the leather dynamic shape instead of just tooling on a flat surface. There is obvious shape like the fluting ridges and there is subtle shaping in various areas as well. I avoid flats when I can on most projects.
