Description I really wanted to try and mimic a concept art style piece within unreal engine after learning from that Halo one. This is not bad AT ALL and i'm very happy with it!

The clouds and fog up close are 2d planes while the far away clouds are just a huge matte painted skybox. The thing that makes this look so grimy and brush-y is the massive amount of 2d planes hovering in front of windows and buildings that consist of pictures of brush marks and the like. It really makes it blend better as well as the outline for forming lines that you can see behind the smoke. That's pretty cool.
I guess the style for environments that i'm looking to head towards is something like Disco Elyseum where it's Concept Art and rough. A style I always tried to imagine but never really thought I could get close to achieving it!
Getting there. It's all gradual steps!

This was the most direct approach I could take since idk how to do shader stuff but who knows what the future may hold.
