Very well crafted image, but somehow the background and posture leaves me with the impression of a coffin.

I have to say... after wading through tons of anime!fem!Dracos this is a treat to behold. He looks haughty, unapproachable, smoldering, and confident (and most importantly, MASCULINE. THANK YOU). I don't agree with the hair, but this is definitely a breath of fresh air. Mmmm.

Oh my god, yes please.
It honestly doesn't look much like Tom Felton, but that's a detail I'm willing to overlook. It's just that amazingly well done.

I suppose not. Damned movies ingrained (engrained? Ugh, spelling.) his face as Malfoy into my mind...
Now I can barely imagine him as I used to. *oh cry*
But your picture looks more like Draco would, really. Tom Felton's almost too sexy (Haha!) for the character to be hated enough.

I love this! He has that very snooty British-boarding-school look to him that is SOOo perfect for Draco.

now THIS is what draco malfoy should look like...
after reading the book's description of him, i can say i was less then impressed with the actor they chose to portray him.
You however have managed to capture him perfectly.

Very sexy, and I don't even like blonde boys!I think it's just his evil nastiness that appeals to me. What program did you use?

Possibly because they are usually horrible little things who just know they are cute. But ahhh, my nasty Draco...I love him.

Blooming heck. Your airbrushing has come on considerably since I saw your 'Draco 4'. What's your secret? Nice diagonal composition and restrained use of colour.

Thank you!
My secret is spending way too much time at the computer. No, seriously. I got a tablet and pen as a gift and I've gone nuts with it, I can get a lot of those really detailed effects that I couldn't master before, but it does take me considerably longer to do - so not as many deviations but hopefully better quality end result.

I'm thinking of getting a tablet, but I'm not sure I'll be good enough at computer colouring to make it worthwhile. How big is the size of your tablet? Do you think it matters? There's so many out there at such varied prices it's very confusing.
This is another level to what you were doing before. What media did you use before you got into using your computer to make art?

My tablet is actually a really basic one - inexpensive but it works for me. It's a Wacom Graphire 3 and the tablet is 4 x 5" Wacom recently upgraded to the Graphire4 but I honestly think the 3 is just as good. In Australia they retail for about $130AUD, so around $100USD. You can also get lots of accessories like felt tip nib etc reletively cheaply.
Wow, I just got very technical...how weird for me.
Before I started using the computer I would paint, but I was never very good at it and I found that the computer allowed me to fill in a lot of the elements that I didn't like. I often use paintings that I photographed with a digital camera and then worked on using the pen and tablet to get the effect I want.
