This picture is the only one I've seen of SS-HG, who contains the snapish features and persona, without making him the least creepy. You can actually see the conflict of passion and forbidden fruit melt on his lips as he reaches for this beautiful young creature of the 21st century.
Something in the angle, the body positions and the swift of Hermiones hair, makes the picture move, like we get a peak into their own little spinning world of love.
I sometimes try to do just that in my pictures, but I never succed.

The art is fantastic but the shipping is gross. Snape is like, 30 to 40 and Hermione is 15.

When Snape dies he is 37, and she is almost 18. Yeah that is still 20 years apart, but Tonks and Remus are 13 years apart in canon. It is an extremely popular pairing, which is my favorite non-canon.

This is an amazing image, i really love the way both of the characters are portrayed! Great job, I love how Hermione seems to be the one leading (in my view) and how Severus still seems hesitant (the way his hand is placed and yea...) Fave!

This drawing greatly reminds me of a picture/publicity shot from the film 'The End of the Affair' with Ralph Fiennes and Julianne Moore...I wonder if you used that as a sort of inspiration?

it's beautiful. I think you did particularly well on severus. i have no complaints but if you want constructive oberservations, Hermione's lips are a bit strange. it's hardly noticable.

I have loved this image you have created for a long time. I have seen it many times on the web, nice to finally know who made it. It's beautiful. I love the Snape/Hermione ship, and this captures all the essence of that relationship. Way to go.
