I would've imagined this situation quite differently. Those blue parts on the Bio-alien are metal. So I thought they could be detached to reveal the more sensitive red alien flesh. I don't know, I just thinking out loud. It's a commission anyway.

You've gotten that correct, though the red flesh is muscle tissues and she's she's human as it's red, if it's a different color, then it's another Alien specie.
