I have story
So I joined this game with in the week and I thought after 2 days (not strait) of playing Sniper and Scout I should try all the other clases and see how I did. I tried spy for a total of 10 mins.
I was running out of clock(sp) and trying not to get killed by this one sniper who could see all the best un clocking spots. I was running as fast as I could when the enemy ran out of the enternece I was going to try and get in before unclocking. All hell broke lose, they had 2 Pyros and 3 heavy medic combos which quickly ran into the rest of my team. I was just about to get in when anouther spy pushed me and I was forced to unclock right in font of a sniper holding a fully drawn flaming arrow, he relesed upon seeing a BLU spies face apear right infont of the medic he was trying to shoot. He pressed V and started yelling at me, I don't know why he was so mad since I got a head shot against me.
Anyway it really freaked the sniper out and I stoped then because I never killed anyone and died about 7 times

I have lots of funny spy stories including one about how I got sniping leasons from a BLU sniper who looked just like me and had my name, he was really nice until he told me to try head shoting, waited until I was at 100% and stabed me in the back.

2fort =/= Sniper heaven.
Yes, the battlements attract large numbers of snipers... but these snipers are almost completely useless. Why?
1. Most of the fighting takes place in close quarters inside the bases, where snipers are at a huge disadvantage.
2. Even when enemies are trying to get between the bases, they'll either:
(a) take the sewers (you still can't shoot them).
(b) going through the covered bridge (you have a very limited opportunity to shoot them)
(c) going over the covered bridge (you can shoot them, but since they're usually scouts or rocket-jumping soldiers, it's difficult and if you don't shoot them in the next couple seconds they'll be up in your face, killing you).
3. The people actually hanging out on the battlements or in the exits to their base are either complete idiots whose death won't hurt the enemy team at all, other snipers, again not of much value to the enemy team, or occasional other classes who have decided to try shooting you.
4. If you aren't paying attention, you are likely to be blown up by rockets (either from a soldier or a wrangled sentry) or set on fire.
2fort is a great map for short-range classes like spies, pyros and scouts, so-so for soldiers, heavies, engies and demomen (there are lots of places for sticky traps, but scouts, pyros and spies are a big threat), and really bad for snipers.
I have tried sniping on Turbine, and it's much better. You have nice windows to watch the battle from behind while still having cover, the center of the map has some obstacles enemies can hide behind, but not as much as 2fort, and more of the action actually takes place out in the open where you can do some damage.

omg your greatest kill happened to me 2. i was a sniper in 2fort and i saw a pyro going on the bridge and i was behind him so i aimed for his head with my sniper and i killed the spy that walked behind him

i had a similer best kill but i was practising with a friend sniper practise and i sniped him soon as he came round the corner the first time he went down the bottom tryin to trick me, it was awesome

I was walking on the bridge in 2fort as a cloaked Spy, when suddenly a sniper from the opposite team just killed me with a huntsman out of pure luck. D:
