Description
As I write this, I’m sitting on the railing of the ship, AzureBlade, of the Blackhearts Fleet, of Commodore Falcon. There are four ships in his fleet. Currently the AzureBlade sails alone. We do that from time to time. Our captain likes sailing around, and visiting many places, jovial fellow, and has earned the respect of every man and woman on his ship.

What’s even more interesting is that we’ve managed to pick up quite a diverse group. We’ve got some Asian individuals from oriental lands, three in fact. We have many Europeans, and one hobbit, and then we have me. Interestingly enough, we’re not quite sure where I come. We can only assume by my name and looks that I’m Middle Eastern, heh I certainly don’t dress like it though, but we may never know where I come from.

I’ve been granted a small reprieve from duties, so I decided that I’ll sit here and create a journal of our journeys, trials and tribulations, and our conquests or winnings, whatever you want to call it.

A little about our captain, he’s a scot, by the name of Dillon Macmathanbane. Like I said earlier, he’s a jovial man. He’s also very understanding of his crew, and he doesn’t try to run us ragged. He is a great captain that most, if not all of his crew would die for him if necessary.

So back to the main star of this journal… me.

I’m fairly young, only nineteen years, granted… the ships captain is twenty-four and, and his three lieutenants are only years younger than him. We are deffinately a young ship, but that hasn’t been our failing yet.

I’m average height, of about five foot six, fairly tanned, brown black hair, and even darker brown eyes. I just joined this boat about a year ago, Emiko and I have become fairly entwined… we’re more or less brother and sister now, even though we from completely different parts of the culture spectrum. We do the bard thing to earn some extra coin when we’re in port where ever we may land.

In the year that I’ve been on the AzureBlade, I’ve learned quite a bit about sword play, both eastern and western sword play that is. Even more about the cultures, and Captain has been making it a point to teach his crew about etiquette when it comes to royalty and feasting.

So you know what I look like… you know of the AzureBlade, you know of the crew, you know of me slightly, and you know of captain… this is merely the first in many to come. I’ll write as it all happens and be more than happy to share.
