A very quick reference for Kareela's [link] family. I think they might make a brief appearance in her future at some point.

Here's a little information about them (from left to right):

Eniola: (Mother - Black-shouldered kite / African golden cat) Eniola has always been and will always be a narcissistic harpy who could not even live a minute being anything but a Faclair. She has grown quite accustomed to the high life and does not think about anything beyond the latest trends, societal standing, and shaping her son into the perfect child. She constantly nags to her mate, piggy-backing upon his wealth, and looks down upon non-Faclair gryphons within Grandesque. It doesn't take much to spite her either, being very hot-headed.

Uzoma: (Brother - Lammergeier / African golden cat) Because of the absolutely spoiled treatment he received from his mother growing up, Uzoma has grown up to be pretty much as you would expect. A brat. He ALWAYS gets what he wants. He's the type of individual who, when not given his way, would say "Mother WILL hear about this." He's a momma's boy thru and thru. His father, on the other hand, has grown to be quite disappointed in him. He never turned out to be the heir his father was expecting, being overly spoiled and a trouble-maker. As an adult, Uzoma has gotten wrapped up in the local drug trade and profits from it. This is unknown to his mother but well known by his father.

Katlego: (Father - Lammergeier / Serval) With age, Katlego has grown increasingly depressed, in between his disappointment with his son and the political chaos he constantly deals with. He is a bureaucrat, which he is still quite proud of, and is always looking to initiate change for the better of his family. He may have grown tired and disappointed of his family over the years, but he still loves them. He is well aware of his son's affiliation with the drug trade and has tried numerous times to change his son (or his mate's) behavior. They simply to not listen. His biggest regret was disposing of his daughter when she had hatch. Oh, how blind he had been due to his single-minded goal. All he wanted was a proper male heir. If only she was alive...
