Information

The hedgewitch: A Hedge Witch is a free spirit, one who knows a lot about herbs and what to do with them, spiritual use and for medicinal use. She was and is the person you go to when you don't feel good in your skin, or when strange things happend and you didn't know what it was. Or when you made her angry she gave you a reason to have bumps during the night and daytime .At least you think she did it.. a hegdewitch follows her own path. In the old days the reason why she is called a hegdewitch is that the towns were divided by natural'hedges' and forests.. People who knew a lot about herbs lived close to the forest and sometimes in the forest, because there was where they could find everything .and for that reason they were called hegdewitches
These days those ' hedgewitches don't live near a forest, but they stay close with nature as good as they can.
a hegdewitch do everything on her own, no sisters and brothers involved in what she do. They are most of the time a little bit ' allergic' to other people but they rarely refuse to help someone who ask for it.
They know their stuff from what have been told by elder people, mostly family. They read clouds, moon and sun, they know the plants and what they can and do...Everything is learned from experiance. Their main goddess is mother nature, and sister moon and sun. maybe some will use goddesses and gods, but its not the most importent thing in their world. Nature and what she gives and take is importent. And what she can give back to it...
