Description
This here is Sil from the classic Doctor Who serials 'Vengeance on Varos' and 'Mindwarp' (Varos of which seems to be considered possibly the height of Colin Baker's onscreen stories, although there's not much competition). To be hones I've been in a strong Doctor Who mood lately and Sil's one of those recurring but minor villains who I'd love to see come back in the new series. Just because he's really one of two Colin Baker era villains you can really use (The Valeyard I feel requiring certain circumstances). Onscreen Sill was gleefully portrayed by Nabil Shaban, and indeed this image uses possibly the iconic shot of Sil taken for 'Varos'. To be fair I appropriated the facial features of Peter Dinklage for this image of Sil, and although I'm pleased with how this turned out I do feel bad for not using Nabil Shaban :/ Anyway, this is the largest drawing of this scale I think I've done in ages so all in all I'm pleased it wasn't a complete failure (I mean, it feels rough but failure would be I forgot how to draw). Con-crit as always is most welcome
