brand new art with a brand new logo^^i was rewriting my manga and i felt like drawing a picture of Ari
i don't like how it all turned out though...
i'm still not happy...i guess i just need more and more practice.

Me encanta la posicion, es algo vanidosa pero demuestra lo tierna que es Ari, ademas su expresion es adorable, parece que te esta mirando, de verdad parece el cover de un manga, sus medias son bonitas, no veo que tenga un punto de luz muy definido pero eso es bueno porque todo el dibujo esta vivo, me agrada bastante su bufanda, toda colorida y alegre, y tu nuevo logo esta genial, con todas esas letras japonesas y arriba el nombre born-to-die, la caida del cabello es otra cosa muy bien hecha, se ve sedoso y suave, a Ari le ha crecido el cabello no}??? desde hace cuanto que no se lo "cortas" (dejalo asi y mas largo xD), cuanto te costo hacer el fondo, todas las hojas estan muy bien hechas, me hubiera parecido tierno que hubiera habvido alguna mariquita o un insecto peque{ño alrededor de ella.

you shouldn't be doubting yourself,born, this is an outstanding piece. the artwork is absolutely stunning. from the pose to the folds in her sweater. and i think your leafy bgrounds fits this piece perfectly. as for the coloring, i think i love it just as much if not more! the multi colored scarf as well as the differently colored leaves keeps the piece feeling even more alive. and even if the hair hasn't got quite the anime feel to it as the rest still looks completely gorgeous. there really isn't 1 thing that i could negativily comment on, so the piece has to be prefect much perfect ( to my eyes anyway) this would make for a very kool cover or even an awesome poster!!!

This piece is very nice, however, if you want to make it better, one thing I would suggest. Her smile is a little hard to make out since it's so tiny. I dont know if it was intended or not. But on my screen looking at the downloaded version and the fullview, I can't make out if she's happy, content, or sad. But that's all I can say because I'm not expert on anatomy and stuff.

Despite the brilliant skill you presented through this art, there's still some noticeable thing i found it rather disturbing in this art.
1.Background: even though the gradient and random dots blended in rather well, i cant help but to be distracted back to it time to time when i look at the girl, which suppose to be the main object, when i cant focus on the girl, it kinda ruin the marvelous piece, and because the color you picked for those dots, it's rather hard for me to notice how good those branches of leaves are, which kinda spoiled it as well.
2. positioning of the girl: from what i see here, the girl isn't really sitting on the tree branch, more like sticking on it, that was caused by the flatness of the tree trunk, i presume it's because you did the girl and the background separately (In separate file i mean) ? Another reason which leads me to think as such was because the way the girl's dress(?) folds, if the girl's sitting on a branch, the edge of the dress should be sticking to her laps, rather then dropping down like that. To make things short, perspective, logical thinking and positioning still need a little work.
3. from this part it's just my rant ( could be ignored ) : the stockings just doesn't make any sense =.=lllll .... or it was just me ....

Vision – because of the lack of bright color, the whole piece just seems a little plain to me, however the color use for the girl made it contrast from the piece, which is the thing i like about it.
Originality/Impact : Maybe it's just me, but this whole piece doesnt leave a great impact in my mind, a girl sitting on a tree branch seems to be a little bit over used from what i saw in dA, and errr ... does cherry tree grows such big branch ?
Technique – the patient you spent working on the detail of the plant was noticeable, the shades created by the hair and leaves and such were shown, i personally like the green little branches back there, they were all nicely done.

Me gusta bastante. El fondo esta genial y Ari esta lindisima como siempre. Sin embargo (y lo escribo aqui pq no quiero añadir una "critica" tan corta en tu espacio de criticas)... creo que lo que hace falta es algo de sombra hecha por el arbol... bueno, eso creo. En si, el dibujo esta muy pero muy bueno ^__^
