Well, whoever requested this (like a year ago )i FINALLY got around to finishing tonight ...
lol, i don't feel toooo bad, because this is an awfully detailed request XD...
...but, yeah, i don't remember who this was for, hopefully you didn't unwatch me because you thought i'd lied when i said i was going to draw this for you!!!! Anyway..
---------Borrower Arrietty : Annual Ghibli Piece (3rd one!)
Hey guys, i've had this on the backburner for pretty much a year now, and i decided tonight that if i didn't finish it now, i never would. i basically speed colored most of the wood and the walls behind arrietty tonight, using mainly colored pencils and a marker to do some of the black..
.... these do take quite a while to do, hopefully i'll have time to do one next year while i'm in college... idk.
Anyway, i'm aware that these are why like, half of my watchers are here, so i'll make some effort to keep producing these
. Look, i love you. i bought a USB cable for my printer so that i could upload pictures. albeit grainy versions of them.

PS: Because of how comparitively more popular my Annual Ghibli drawings are, i'm probably not going to thank you personally for the fav! (i know, i'm lazy... actually, it's because it's awkward and no one actually cares when they recieve thankyous hahah)

I'd say traditional works out pretty well for you, lol. I always smudge lines too much, and screw up trying to color, so digital makes it easier for me to clean things up

hahah, for me drawing with a tablet is much harder than drawing with a pencil, as for smudging lines i usually do line art one day and color a different day, as well as keeping in the lines for the most part

My friends and i decided this was young Howl, and that when he was dying he asked his family to take him to the big town, at which time he met and befriended a magician guy, and tended to sheep while he was dying, and then one night saw the stars and traded his old crappy not-working heart for calcifer ♥ HE LIVES.

my friend and i after finishing the movie were like, "That's way too depressing for a Ghibli Movie... excluding god damn Grave of the Fireflies."
so we made up alternate/continued endings
... But, i like the Howl idea better, partially because Haku actually probably dies after chihiro leaves, because in order to get her and her parents out he agreed to basically fight Ubaba...

XD i've only seen Spirited away 100 and a million times.
(i have both the dubb and subtitle lines of the actors memorized. my fav part is when chihiro is clinging to haku as they fall down into the pit and she goes "Haku, We're Falling!!!" and i'm like, no shit chihiro.)

xDD My favorite part is the River Spirit bit, especially when No-Face (my hubby btw ) is like "ahh...ahh...!" and giving Chihiro the bath tokens.

lol, i'm trying to quit exagerating , because i do it a whole lot, so i went for a reasonable number.
then you obviously are aware that when chihiro notices Haku flying in the sky after seeing no-face on the bridge in the DUB, she says "it's a dragon!" while in the original japanese she says nothing.
you also are completely awesomely aware that when she goes to visit her parents, she puts on her shoes without socks, and has the socks in hand, and opens the door, but when she climbs the stairs no longer has the socks in hand.
