she was born the daughter of a british sea captain of the navy, and lived a very sheltered and aristocratic life as a child. her father often called her his 'little white butterfly' which later became her trademark. her father hired many tutors for her, which is why at times she speaks very properly and eloquently. her mother died while giving birth, leaving her motherless. with no real female figure in the household she assumed the attributes of a tomboy, accompanying the riff-raff boys of society, being able to hold her liqour and play a mean game of poker :3 she later earned the nickname 'butterfly sen.' her father was hardly home, as being a navy captain consumed most of his time. one day, when she had came of age she discovered her father had prepared for her a wealthy young suitor, a ship master of her fathers navy vessel. not wanting to marry she fled from home, and being associated with young unruly boys became introduced to the pirate buisiness. she became very skilled with a dagger, the handle being engraved with the image of a white butterfly. her journeys brought her many places, most around europe. after five years of wandering as a pirate, she returned home to find news of her fathers death, being killed by some nameless murderer. though she was to be the heir of her fathers large fortune, she sought to search for her fathers killer and avenge her father.

so shes a rich young aristocratic heiress, whos become a pirate... good girl gone bad xD
