...I love him and his snark. XD (Too bad writers don't know how to handle his character in the series...he always ends up either being the stereotypical token gay character or the sacrifice for the story- the redshirt of the X-Men universe. )

So adorable (hugs you ) I love the design of the outfit.
Yeah, I understand perfectly: I love Northstar for his sharp humor and his "I don't care what the other says because I'm better", but he is really tender inside It's a funny and complicated character and I think that Claremont was one of the few writers that could handle him XD ( I remember the Asgardian wars.... sorry maybe I've written the title wrong: actually I read a translation of it because I'm italian, I'm not sure about the original title)

Yeah! This guy deserve more love I'm so happy when I find other fans ^^ especially when they're very good artists.

About Italy the only sad thing is that I've to wait ages to buy my comics and I always get many spoiler ^^ ah ah

Shameful treatment, isn't it? I think most of them just don't know how to write a speedster's power-set. The less said about the plethora of gay jokes, the better.

Yeah, seriously- sometimes I just wanna run up to the writers at cons and shout "LAY OFF THE GAY JOKES IN XMEN WOULDYA?!" while waving a badly written issue about Jean-Paul. Sigh.

Also, if writing a speedster is hard, then why is Pietro easier to write than Jean-Paul? I think it's the fact that Jean Paul has no interest in being one of the Xmen or saving the world, he only cares about living his life and taking care of his twin sister. I think that's what makes him hard to write and more interesting to read about.

100% agreed, though I liked that they made him a teacher -- and a good one -- in New Mutants. Too bad that got forgotten as soon as they brought him back.

Yeah! That whole run was the reason why I like him so much- he was awesome as a teacher even in Uncanny X-Men...until they brought him back and brainwashed him, pfft. Oh well.
