Belive it or not, I know how much you guys love my charcoal drawings, so, HERE YOU GO! It's a dragon, its in charcoal, and its done! Well, mostly. The picture was pretty crapish, but I b&w'ed and hightened the contrast in photoshop to look more like the original.I am EXTREMELY happy with this
I know it needs a little work. For instance, the background is a bit too whispy, but I thought the affect was so COOL with the eraser that I just couldn't stop. Some things are unfixable, like the mess in the horns, I messed with them so much that it's pretty much premanently on that paper now 
Original Charcter, too! I'nm so proud of myself. I've gone through so many sketches of dragons and could never come up with a good one. But at school, in art, we had to do a choice drawing (it was due today) and I just started out with a snake-like thing that I said would be a dragon and everyone at my table threw out suggestions! The wings and arms and spikes and scales were ALL THEIR IDEA! So, I guess I can't really call it ORIGINAL, but you get what I mean. Close enough.
18" x 12" charcoal pencils white and black (also did a bit with a charcoal stick to get the massive amounts of black in there. Started Tuesday, sorta-finished today.
I may fix it up, add my sig., and take a better pic later, but I also might not. I'd have to fix the smudges it got from when I finished it and then.
P.S. =WhiteTiger22 didn't think I'd be able to finish this by Friday, today, in order to turn it in to my art teacher. I just want to give a shout-out to her to tell her that she was WRONG!

Nice, very stylized. I like charcoal in general.
Good work with the light reflection against the chest scales, that's a nice touch.

Well...I got the assignmetn on Friday, but only sketched it out that day. I didn't really start working on in until Tuesday. But, yeah, took me about 8 hours to do...
I think you should leave the dragons to me and you should continue with your animals - you are much better t your animals - and yes you DO have talent! How dare you! 0_0

eh i told u i didnt get a choice... and i doubt my art will be good enough to live off of so im takin engineer classes to go to school for architect/interior designer

oh, yeah. you're right. we started Thursday. That was the day I sketched it. And Friday I colored. Yeah! Because I remember we had exactly a week to work on it ^^
I'm headin' fo architecture, too, but I want to get in THE BEST school, which is S.C.A.D. Savannah College of Art and Design. They have expensive, brand new equipment and update as soon as something better comes out! Classes for movie producing, video games, graphoc designing, interior designing, architecture and much more, of course! I want to go there so bad! They have the one in Savannah and there's one in Atlanta, too. They're private colleges, though. EXTREMELY expensive ($8,000 a semester is what dad's friend, James told me. His daughter, Caraline goes there. She's into fasion design!) so I HAVEA to get as many scholoships as I can and, of course, get accepted in the first place. I want of win one of their full scholorships pretty bad! 0.0
